Weekday Astrology (Taksa)

Life is like a movie. There are moving pictures on a screen that we experience with our physical senses, but there is also a pre-written script guiding each scene. Weekday Astrology is the closest thing to being handed the script to your own life’s movie, and the tools to edit the story for yourself.

Preface

I’m not a barcode! Aur’s student exclaimed, as Aur calmly read their whole life – from the sweetest memories of falling in love to the bitter stings of year-long depression – all from a few numbers and lines she jotted down on the piece of paper, now resting on her lap.

How utterly wrong that student was.

Now, after almost 10 years of studying with Aur, the student has learned, like many others before him, that Weekday Astrology is a highly accurate personality profiling system dating back to Babylonian times, that in fact can predict your life down to the smallest details, just from a few numbers. Like a barcode.

Taught almost exclusively by the Thailand-based expert known as Aur, this Weekday Astrology system, also known as “Taksa” is vastly different from other Astrology systems. Instead of relying on the months, or years, Taksa illustrates how the day of the week (and time) you were born has the most significant impact on your personality, preferences, career, health, habits, and almost every other aspect of your life.

What is Weekday Astrology?

Consider this for a moment; why do we have seven-day weeks? It is something so close to our daily lives, so simple, yet most people never stop to wonder about it.

Created over 4,000 years ago in the Babylonian region (where the 12 lunar Zodiac also originated), our seven-day weekday was first developed to track and correlate how the seven classical “planets” influenced our planet.

7 Classical Planets

The classical planets are the seven celestial bodies visible to the naked eye, namely, the Sun, the Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn.

Just as the moon affects all creatures emotionally throughout its phases, each of these classical planets was found to have its own influence over all living things here on earth.

However, the elemental impact each planet has on earth is different, which is why each planet and the day of the week it is associated with is connected to a different classical element.

E.g. The Sun is associated with fire, while Venus is represented by water.

Shared Connection

Our shared connection with the classical planets is so strong that people (and animals) born on any weekday demonstrate shared character traits with everyone else born on that same weekday.

This is regardless of the date, month or year they were born. That’s how powerful the elemental influence is that every weekday has on our planet.

I.e. All people born on a Thursday – a day associated with the dry earth element – tend to be stubborn yet stable people, personifications of their elemental counterparts.

While those born on a Sunday, a day that represents “flame”, all tend to show carelessness towards that which they possess yet a hungry focus towards what they do not yet own. Parallel to that of a flame, always seeking to grow, continuously looking for new fuel for its own expansion.

Yet a person is not just simply one element, and there are only so many personality traits most people can think of that represent a rock or a flame.

That’s why our ancient Babylonian ancestors created personality archetypes to help represent the full collection of characteristics associated with the day a person was born.

The Gods

If you do a little research, you’ll find that many cultures have similar God figures associated with each of the weekdays.

In fact, modern names for the days of the week come from these “Gods”.

For E.g. Tuesday was named after the Nordic god “Tyr”, the god of war.

While 2,500 km away in ancient Rome, Tuesday was named Martis, or the day of Mars, also associated with their god of War.

This is no coincidence.

These separated ancient cultures knew that the personality traits associated with those born on a Tuesday (Mars day) were like that of a man of war.

This is because Tuesday people tend to be highly loyal, protective, straight to the point, are often highly skilled experts, workaholics, and willing to go to the ends of the earth for what they believe in, all while having an inherent difficulty expressing emotions or understanding other people’s feelings.

All very much like a soldier (man of war).

This is how each day of the week originally received its patron God.

But, don’t go studying ancient Greek just yet.

As time continued, people associated more and more with these “divine” characters than what they originally represented, altering their personalities to better suit religious rituals and personal opinions, in turn losing their pure representation of the weekday archetypical personalities.

That’s why, although buried in ancient lore and mysticism, Weekday Astrology remains to be the oldest and most comprehensive personality profiling Astrology system in existence.

The New “Gods”

For the sake of accuracy and modern relevance, we have updated the Archetype personalities.

We’ve replaced the old gods with more modern-day characters you can relate to while remaining as accurate as possible to the core personality.

E.g. Instead of “Mars” the god of war, Tuesday is simply represented by the character of a soldier. This makes it much more accurate and easier to grasp because most people can imagine personality traits commonly associated with a soldier.

As per the other modern archetypes, we will discuss this more in each Weekday Astrology book.

Weekday Astrology is Karma

Weekday Astrology is the physical embodiment of your karma.

For those of you who believe in and understand the concept of reincarnation, Weekday Astrology is best described as how this universe manifests the perimeters of current karma, brought forth into this physical life.

Every soul is at a different stage of lessons to learn on their spiritual journey and we are each born into a different Astrology personality with particular strengths/weaknesses, good sides, and bad sides that best suits our current life’s lessons to be experienced and learned.

And it’s also connected to what we are asked to experience in our next life before we were born into it.

E.g., if we asked to be happy no matter what, we’re likely to be born on a Friday or Wednesday as both these days prioritize their own comfort and happiness.

So keep this in mind. While most people see learning Weekday Astrology as something entertaining, or useful for interpersonal communication and relationships (which it is), there is a deeper benefit.

Weekday Astrology has the potential to be soul transformative. With it, you literally have the blueprint for your karma and the particular lessons you must learn. This allows you to work towards becoming self-aware and breaking free from karmic cycles.
