The Sunday Archetype

Sunday people can be represented by the personality of a King, Prince, or a Princess. Sundays have the tendency to outwardly act as if they are important and confident, while in truth having insecurity issues and problems seeing their own value and talents.

But, because a Sunday feels that they have to look good in public (like Royalty), they usually won’t openly admit to their flaws.

Sunday’s Personality

Sunday’s feel that everything must look “perfect”. But, because “perfect” is subjective (what’s perfect for one person isn’t so for another) Sunday people judge themselves according to their own standards, and local cultural norms.

Sundays want to be important. They do and say everything they think will make them look this way, especially around people who aren’t close to them.

When first meeting a Sunday person, they will seem confident and easy-going. But the more you get to know them, the more you will realize that they are completely opposite to what they first appear to be.

E.g., in reality; Sundays stress about seemingly small issues and lack any real self-confidence.

One of the biggest problems Sunday people face is accepting the bad side of themselves.

Sunday’s hate looking bad. So much so, that they avoid looking at it within themselves. So instead, they cover up and deny anything they feel will make them look bad.

Sundays are tough on themselves. They expect a lot and place a lot of pressure on themselves. This means they are regularly disappointed when they are not good enough according to their own standards.

Culture is important

Culture is a significant formative factor for Sunday people. A Sunday person’s character revolves around their ideals of what they consider to be a “good” person.  But, what’s “good” varies largely from culture to culture.

What is considered right or wrong in one country will often vary vastly from what is considered right or wrong in another country.

Take sex for example.

In most Western countries, women born on a Sunday will openly express their enjoyment of sex, because sex is widely accepted in the West and it’s ok for a woman to enjoy sex.

Whereas in a Sunday woman born in an Asian culture will be unlikely to admit liking sex at all. This is because in many Asian cultures, it’s considered wrong for a woman to admit enjoying sex.

So when you are trying to understand a Sunday person, take their cultural norms into consideration.

A Sunday Man

A Sunday man will look confident and outgoing on the outside. He will think of himself as smart, tough and quick-witted. However in truth, they are often mentally weak.

When talking to a Sunday man, he may sound confident but when challenged, he will usually surrender quickly.

A Sunday man believes that he is brave, and the kind of person who deals with problems head on. But this isn’t so.

E.g. If a Sunday man sees that he has to face a problem, he will likely try to avoid dealing with it, although he wouldn’t admit this as in his mind that would make him look bad.

Sunday men don’t lie – necessarily. But they will try to act as if their negative qualities don’t exist.

A Sunday Woman

A Sunday woman will do anything she can to look good in other’s eyes. Although this will be solely according to her society’s idea of what a “good” woman should be like.

Sunday women try to avoid conflict at all costs. But, people will still get annoyed with Sunday women because they tend to make negative assumptions about everything.  Especially how they assume others think about them.

Sunday women worry too much about how others feel about them. And, when something does go wrong, she is quick to blame herself and feel bad about it.

How Sunday’s like to Dress

Sundays try to dress to impress others. As they have underlying issues with self-confidence, they believe that dressing up formally will make them look important.

Unfortunately, although they make a great effort to try and look good, Sundays tend to have terrible fashion sense.
